Someone once said, “In business, successful people reach goals, not quotas.” Summer Chancey has always been a go-getter and thrived on challenging herself to reach both personal and professional goals. She obtained her Bachelor of Business from Sam Houston State University where she majored in Marketing. Soon after, she began her career as an Oil and Gas Recruiter where she worked with both Fortune 100, Fortune 500 Companies, oil field service companies and general contractors. Summer was blessed to have amazing mentors throughout her career who taught her the importance of remaining humble and to help those in need. Summer’s passion for entrepreneurship led her to open an Executive Search Firm. As the Founder and CEO of Viking Recruiting Resources, her goal is to build professional relationships with her clients and deliver tangible solutions to solve their talent acquisition and retainment needs.

Summer resides in the Energy Capital of the World where she volunteers and attends networking events, conferences and leadership meetings as a proud member of WEN (Women's Energy Network) and WCE (Women's Council of Entrepreneurs), as well as Oilfield Connections- Houston Chapter. Viking Recruiting recently earned certifications such as a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) and Historically Underutilized Business (HUB).

RECENT EVENTS

Our team was invited to attend the Permian Midstream Takeaway and Capacity Conference where we discussed the importance of talent acquisition and retainment.

This year, we volunteered at the Houston Pipeliners Golf Tournament (Pictured below) as well as the Downstream Summit at the George R. Brown Convention Center. We also had the opportunity to network with local Entrepreneurs through several events with WCE (Women's Council of Entrepreneurs) (Pictured below).

We are a proud member of Oilfield Connections Group- Houston Chapter. This group was formed in Midland, TX. They've added hundreds of members and multiple chapters throughout Texas. We would love to meet you at an event!
